McIntosh Laboratory is one of the best-known makers of high-end audio equipment, and they’ve recently unveiled new lines of speakers and amplifiers that would be a perfect fit for your home audio system.
“We are excited to return to the custom install category with these new amplifiers and speakers,” said Charlie Randall, McIntosh President and CEO, in a recent press release. These new models, which debuted at the recent CEDIA expo, can easily be installed by iconic.systems no matter the needs of your Memorial, TX home. Here are the basics on McIntosh’s new speakers and amplifiers:
The new amplifier lines from McIntosh are the MI254 and MI128 models. The MI124 has four channels, each with a 250-Watt output, while the MI128 has eight channels that output 120 Watts each. McIntosh says that both new amps don’t require cooling fans to operate at top levels, making them quieter and giving them a smaller design profile. Additionally, McIntosh says the MI124 “is well suited for home theaters to drive surround sound speakers and could be integrated into virtually any existing home theater system.”
Multi-color LED indicators on the front panels display the status of each audio channel, while a signal sensing system automatically turns the amplifiers off after a preset amount of time to help save power and lower your energy costs. Taken together, these features mean the MI124 and MI258 “produce performance levels that are rarely achieved in distributed audio,” according to McIntosh. Ask iconic.systems to show you how these new devices can improve your home theater experience.
While amplifiers may be McIntosh’s trademark products, there’s literally a world of audio solutions that they have to offer. The World of McIntosh townhouse in Manhattan is one of the most famous audio showrooms in the country and for good reason. It allows guests to test their marquee products in an immersive, homelike environment instead of an impersonal commercial space.
The townhouse offers private tours and events at their 5-story building that showcases a variety of sonic scenes including home theaters, kitchens, outdoor spaces, living rooms and more. You get to explore their high-end amplifiers, receivers, and turntables in a more natural environment.
